The Abbey

This is my first book nook, a hidden world to put between the books. I've seen some wonderful examples on the internet and wanted to try it myself. Without knowing exactly what to do, I just started somewhere. I was inspired by Monaldi & Sorti's book series about Abbot Milani. The monks are on their way to the evening service, the candles are lit and two newts can be found warming themselves on the stone walls.

It is made of Fimo (polymer clay) on a base of wood. The outside is made of Fimo Leather Effect and the stained glass window is made with shrink film. There are 4 LED lamps in the book nook. The dimensions are 23.2 x 10.2 x 15.2 cm (H x W x D).
