While I was looking for a different embroidery kit, I came across this one and couldn't resist... The cat itself was ready quickly. The package has black embroidery fabric, but I still filled the background with black because this gives a deeper color effect. That took a little more time 😅.
The embroidery kit is from the line 'Among Black Cats' (EH377) from RTO, which I bought via https://www.artenhobby.nl/. To fill the background I used black DMC thread (310) left over from other embroidery projects. I put it in a simple black, wooden photo frame measuring 16.8 cm x 12.2 cm (H x W).
