We like to play the Nintendo game Pikmin, so I thought it would be fun to recreate a scene from the game in Fimo (polymer clay). It was a little bit different from my usual, more natural style. It took some trial and error to create those creatures which look deceptively simple! Every small mistake stands out, you notice immediately if something is out of place. Nevertheless it was fun to work with bright colours and I am happy with the result 🙂
The whole thing is built on a wooden base underneath a glass dome. The whole scene is built from Fimo. The outer diameter is 14 cm and the height is 21 cm.
