After Black Cats cushion<\/a> it won't be a surprise that I love cats (and pretty much all other animals). I got the hang of it and continued with this cat of the same series. The way the cat looks (peeks \ud83d\ude0f) at you with one eye is so recognizable when you have cats. And the way the best place in the house gets occupied by the cat too... \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the kit, the couch only consists of a few backstitch lines, but because I also wanted to make a cushion out of this one, I wanted to fill the couch. I opted for a gray-blue (and some more shades) color gradient that I applied in different directions to accentuate the shapes of the couch. I slanted the edges and made them irregular, otherwise it would be too straight for my taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cushion is made of linen in the color cream and has a zipper of 40 cm at the bottom. The pillow is 42 x 42 cm. The embroidery kit is from the line 'Among Black Cats' M00668 from RTO, which I bought through https:\/\/www.spinnerij.nl\/<\/a>. I filled the couch with DMC yarn from the Color Variations line, Stormy Skies, 4015, the background is filled with DMC yarn 3865 bought at https:\/\/www.hobbydoos.nl\/<\/a>. I don't get paid for mentioning the websites, but I think it's proper to mention it in case you want to make something like this, you know where to find the items.<\/p>\n\n\n
