My second book nook is a collection of all kinds of polymer clay techniques, inspired by art and optical illusions. I have used optical illusions, mokume gane, various extruder techniques, textured mats and faux materials such as ivory and wood. I also wanted to work with Fimo Neon Effect and that's why I made a kind of 80s gallery on the upper floor with a blacklight, nice and bright 😁 To create an illusion of an ongoing corridor, the ground floor continues to the left and the upper floor continues to the right. In the video below and the photos, the cover appears to be blue, but it is actually a kind of green/petrol. No idea why my camera turned it into a blue colour 😏
Op de kroonluchter op de benedenverdieping na, is alles gemaakt van Fimo (polymeer klei) op een basis van hout. De kroonluchter is gemaakt van reststukjes epoxy hars en een 3d geprinte zwarte houder. De kaft is gemaakt van Fimo Leather Effect. Er zijn twee kunststof spiegels achterin geplaatst onder een hoek van ongeveer 30°, zodat het lijkt alsof de gang doorloopt, maar zonder dat je vanuit een bepaalde hoek je spiegelbeeld ziet. De afmetingen zijn 27,7 x 10,8 x 22,6 cm (H x B x D).
